Thailand Land Rights

The tenures are freehold and leasehold (30 years with an option to renew for an additional 30 years)
Foreigners are generally not allowed to own freehold land but can own leasehold property. Land may be purchased via a joint venture as long as the local partner maintains the majority of the joint venture.
